Q: What is DARK?
A: It is a black color pigment used to darken your mix. It assists in matching repairs to darker existing walls, slabs, and ceilings.
Q: How much is in a packet?
A: Each packet contains 120 grams (4.24 ounces).
Q: How much do I need to use?
A: 1 to 8 packets per 55 or 60 lb bag is usually sufficient to match most existing concretes. A trial batch is recommended to determine your specific needs.
Q: How do I add it to my mix?
A: Add the DARK to your material and water mixture and mix until thoroughly distributed.
Q: Can I use it with other additives?
A: It can be used in conjunction with other Rapid Set® Concrete Pharmacy® items or certain approved additives.
Q: Can I add it to other portland cement products?
A: Yes, but a trial batch is recommended to determine your project’s requirements. You will need to maintain similar conditions, proportioning, batching, and finishing to obtain consistent results.
