Marketing Coordinator

As a highly qualified Marketing Coordinator, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to existing marketing programs while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with company directives. Our ideal candidate is an organized multitasker, pivoting between creative and analytical assignments, who focuses on marketing activities that drive results based on the uniqueness of our business model.

This full-time position reports to the Vice President of Marketing and is based at the corporate office in Garden Grove, CA.

Responsibilities Include:

  • In the first 30 days, gain a solid understanding of our approach to social media.
  • In the first 60 days, thoroughly assess our social media performance and create a social media plan and schedule with VP of Marketing.
  • Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels by developing and curating engaging content and responding professionally to comments and inquiries from followers.
  • Use relevant information from CTScement.com inquiries and technical calls to address FAQs and how to’s in social media posts.
  • Continually analyze and measure social media performance and adjust efforts accordingly.
  • Register employees to exhibit at trade shows and order booth materials by the early due dates.
  • Research and provide options for effectively managing promotional goods program, which include obtaining fair pricing, ordering process, tracking orders and inventory, disbursing goods. Manage the full scope of promotional program in 2024 and implement the selected option in 2025.
  • Ensure sales and marketing materials are in stock and a fair price is being paid for those materials.
  • Maintain retailer product databases and websites with the proper information, data, and assets.
  • Keep up to date on our competitors, industry, products, and marketing.
  • Assist with other Marketing support as requested.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Needed:

To be successful in this position, you’ll be a fast learner who retains technical and detailed information. You'll have a service-oriented mindset, work well independently and in a team environment, and take the initiative. You'll be resourceful, responsive, and open to positive and constructive feedback.

The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication, strong copywriting and copy-editing skills, a strong sense of design, and be detail oriented.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels.
  • 2-4 years of successful social media experience, including direct experience using social media management tools and collaborating with influencers.
  • Proven administration or sales and marketing assistant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools.

Starting Base Pay:

The reasonably expected starting base pay for this role is between $22.00 to $29.00 per hour. Starting base pay is to be determined by many factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
