Low-P™ FA1 Cement: Low Permeability, Hydraulic Cement
When your project requires a low permeability, corrosion-resistant, ASR-resistant, fast-setting hydraulic cement, Rapid Set® Low-P™ FA1 is the solution. It is pre-blended with fly ash and mixed with aggregates and water on site to create a fast setting, high performance concrete that achieves 7-day strengths in 3 to 4 hours. Minimize downtime with fast-setting Low-P FA1 Cement and open up to traffic in 1 to 4 hours. Mix Low-P FA1 Cement with water and aggregates to produce concrete mixtures with excellent performance and ease of use. The finished Low-P FA1 Cement concrete has exceptional long-life durability in harsh freeze-thaw conditions. Enjoy the easy-to-place, high slump, non-segregating formula. Low-P FA1 Cement is available in 2,000-pound super sacks and in bulk. When used in a typical mix design, 2,000-pounds yields about 3 to 3.5 cubic yards of concrete.
The Datasheet explains the performance and technical characteristics of Rapid Set® Low-P™ FA1 Cement. It also shows how to use Low-P FA1 Cement (i.e. surface preparation, mixing, placement and curing).
The Safety Data Sheet (SDS) outlines information and procedures for handling and working with Low-P FA1 Cement. It includes physical and chemical property information, potential hazards, emergency procedures and CTS’s contact information.
The Specification gives a detailed statement explaining the type of jobs to specify Low-P FA1 Cement for, the scope of work, thicknesses, performance requirements and usage.
