Q: Can I use OnePass® over a painted surface?
A: Yes, but any chipped or cracked paint should be removed first. The painted surface should be sanded with heavy grit sandpaper first to give the OnePass something to mechanically bond to.
Q: What color is OnePass?
A: It is an off-white color that when dry will roughly match the color of the drywall.
Q: How much working time do I have with OnePass?
A: At normal temperatures, OnePass will start to stiffen up after about 20 minutes and will reach initial set in about 45 minutes. Cold water and material will slow down the set time, and warm water and material will speed up the set time.
Q: If OnePass is supposed to be set after 45 minutes, why does it still look wet?
A: If the patch is deep, the OnePass may take slightly longer to cure. This may cause the color to be slightly darker even though the material is completely cured.
Q: What coverage can I expect from a 25-lb. bag of OnePass?
A: Each 25-lb. bag of OnePass will cover an area of 77 square feet at 1/16-inch depth (skimcoat).
Q: Is OnePass waterproof?
A: OnePass is a weatherproof indoor/outdoor repair material and will stand up to moist conditions, however, OnePass will not create a waterproof barrier.
