CTS Cement
APPLICATIONS

ARCHITECTURAL

Concrete that provides both an aesthetic finish and has a structural function.
Architectural precast concrete is about the ornamental architectural elements added to precast stone, usually on exterior building facades, with a focus on form, color or texture. Surface finishing techniques come from cast stone and cast-in-place such as acid etching, sand blasting, exposing aggregate, brushing, hammering, integral pigmenting or staining. By incorporating ornamental elements into the precast concrete panel, cost savings can be realized. The surface of architectural cast-in-place concrete typically involves color and/or texture, or simulates tile, stone or brick. A variety of Rapid Set® cement products are available for all cast-in-place and precast projects.
